I’ve been dreaming about this for years and the time has come! I’m starting a camp.
Please mark your calendars for the inaugural Blue Ridge Fiddle Camp on August 22-25, 2024 at the Brevard Music Center in Western North Carolina. The camp features 4 days and nights of immersive fiddle/violin exploration, guided by a world-class faculty, and culminates in a special finale concert in the beautiful Parker Hall.
This will be no ordinary fiddle camp. This camp is for all adventurous and open-minded string players interested in tapping into their creative voice through exploring three of of the things I love the most—rhythm, technology, and style (with plenty of improvising, of course).
Taking us on this journey is an amazing faculty lineup featuring Darol Anger (5-string fiddle), Scott Tixier (violin), Tatiana Hargreaves (5-string fiddle), Jamey Haddad (percussion), Zachary Brown (cello/bass), and myself. All are top-notch players and educators with unique musical voices known for pushing the limits of their instrument. Check them out! (Stay tuned, more added soon.)

At Blue Ridge Fiddle Camp, we believe that trying new things is the key to unlocking creativity and aren’t afraid to dive headfirst into uncharted musical territory. Our grooves are deep, our tech skills are sharp, and our musical experiences are nothing short of epic.
